  Yeah, I'm sure *something* is weird in my defaults, because that's why Xy is
so great: it let's me be weird. Or idiosyncratic, anyway. I will try running
QUOTES as a standalone pgm. Not really grasping Help frames (though I know XPL
well) does the conversion simply mean I take out the funny braces and smiley
face at the beginning? And maybe something at the end? Well, I'll try it and
we'll see.
