Failed saves

Has anyone else had this experience? Sometimes, after working on a perfectly
normal-seeming file, I find that "SAve" produces an irrational-sounding error message,
along the lines of "File not found" (sorry, I haven't kept notes on this thing).]

I'm not sure, but I think it's happened in both Xy4 and XW.

I guess this all sounds a little vague, and if more experienced members of this list
think I should log details of future occurrences before bothering the list, someone just
let me know.
