Can you recommend a download site, one that won't try to install a bunch
of crapware too? I see Softonic has it, but they are one of the
offenders.

I would implore my fellow Xywriters, to check out gvim! It is cross
platform, free, and robust! Scripting within the text editor/processor is
in its own vimscript as well as perl, python and other languages. The
focus of the interface is to try and keep your hands ALWAYS on the
keyboard. The learning curve, for the default key bindings, is steep,
like Xywrite, but trust me there is a payoff in performance of action.
There is a HUGE amount of scripts/pluging already accessible, a thriving
support community, etc.
If anyone has any questions, I'll gladly answer, but search the web.
