I downloaded HARDNUM with no problem, and tried it. In WG
it works fine. In XP it works incorrectly, e.g. the first
 becomes  does, since
that is an undocumented value. The more comprehensive
information I have says it means "erase prompt," but doesn't
say what that cryptic phrase means. In fact it is usually
helpful if you insert at the end of a macro an explanation
of what goes on in it.
