By me, litotic constructions are not unfavored. (Points to those who
know the name of the construction just used. Hint, by way of example:

Well, I interpreted it as meaning "I couldn't agree with you more,"
but expressed by means of the figure of speech known as litotes, a
subspecies of meiosis.
