And NO, I do not like Tbird at all, but haven't been able to find anything
else.
I'm reasonably happy with Eudora 4.3 (an old version). It may be that I
don't know what I'm missing. I've been told that Outlook (non-express) is
macro-programmable with Visual Basic. I know Patricia has an animus against
Microsoft, but does anyone use Outlook and program it?
Aren't all emails just plain ASCII, which Xy can work beautifully with? If
Patricia can locate the filenames for the Tbird mailbox files, she can view
them and edit them in Xy. I do that with Eudora's .MBX files daily. Eudora
keeps a binary .TOC (table of contents) file for each .MBX file, but if you
get one out of synch with the other, it just builds a new .TOC file in a snap.
