FYI, you can start MSWindows programs in Win95 at the DOS prompt simply by
placing "start" in front of the file name. This works for documents(with
associated extensions) as well as DOS programs and all Windows programs..
For example, to start Norton Commander in its own DOS box from a DOS box:
start nc
