It would not print from XY3, but if I TYF from XY3 and then from a DOS
prompt command:
COPY FO.TMP PRN
it prints perfectly.
Doesn't this indicate it's not a Xy problem but a Windows-to-HP problem?
Have you checked your printer's Properties in Windows? Maybe turn off
spooling or something like that. Hmm, since copying to PRN works, why
couldn't you set your printer properties to capture to an LPT port (if not
LPT1, then LPT2, or higher) and in settings.dfl, tell Xy that that port is
your printer.
E.g.,
LPT4 c:\XY\HP4-PLUS.PRN HP on Jean's computer
