Chain Printing

Awhile back my hard drive crashed and burned. Figuring it would never happen to
me, I had little, if any backups (I lost seven years of my weekly newsletter,
speeches, press releases, etc.). The worst loss the defaults for Xy 3+, so I
have been using Xy 4 because I had those defaults elsewhere.

I'm writing now because I continue to be truly disappointed in the operation of
Xy 4. The latest problem involves chain printing. What was straight forward --
and worked -- in Xy 3+ now doesn't work in Xy4. I cannot get a "Set" of files to
print out with each file starting on a new page, consecutively numbered without
getting the first word on the next file printing on the previous page. Or I can
take care of that problem, by making each file into a "Set" of its own, but then
the running header (for page numbering) in the first document doesn't carry
over to succeeding documents. I would have to put the running header in each
document and try to figure out how to start the page numbering to get
consecutive numbering.

Has anybody figured out how to make chain printing in Xy 4 work like it does in
Xy 3+?
