Don't you use the newer POSTANSI.PRN (September 2005 replacement for POST1252)?
POST1252 didn't handle A4 paper very well (or at all). But regardless, in
either POST1252 or POSTANSI, the *printer control codes* and the handling of
the PG< command would be the same as in POSTGHST -- exactly. A lot of the rest
of the PRN -- e.g. the WiDth and SUb tables and the PS Prolog -- is different,
of course, but none of that is modified in this new version of POSTGHST.
N.B. I added new printer codes 142 and 143 in the newest POSTGHST.PRN.
