Jim,
  Nope. I just put in the missing error trap, and now it gives me the error
(error 10, cannot find item) after every failed search. And, it pauses after
"error 10" waiting for a keystroke before it will give me "cannot find item"
and then proceed.
 Is there a way to trap for specifically error 10 rather than just any error?
Maybe that would do it.
