Same as getting an icon to stick. You have to create a NEW
shortcut (modifying an existing one doesn't work, at least in XP
or Vista) and make the target read
c:\windows\System32\cmd.exe /c d:\xy4\editor.exe
Windows will itself change that root to %windir%; substitute the
fully qualified path name of editor.exe's directory for d:\xy4.
Change the Open in box to d:\xy4 (or whatever). Click on Change
icon and navigate to where your icons are stored and pick one.
Click on the General Tab and type in whatever title you want over
whatever Windows has already assigned. Click Apply, then OK.
Works here (even under Vista).
