While we're on the subject of new computers, does anyone have anything bad
to say about the Sony TXN line? Looks like getting that with XP is just the
ticket

I have the Sony TX650P and it is my second favorite computer of all time (after the beloved, VHS-cassette-sized, Win98SE but USB-deprived Toshiba Libretto 70CT). Small, light, good keyboard action, incredibly bright crisp screen. I run XY4 under XP Pro with Tame 4.5e. Later Tame versions gave me problems, but if you want more display possibilities, those problems are probably not insoluble.
