Hi, Robert. What a fascinating peek into xyW methodology! That's going
right into my Indispensable Reference archive. Many thanks for posting
it.
Where {xs01,02,03,,05}, Herb says if either 01 or 02 "contains data that
xyWrite considers to be numeric rather than string data, xyWrite will
insert an ASCII 19 character into the current file[. ...]" T/F? Ascii 19s
never turn up in the company of my annoying 1s. This is a casual
observation--it's been quite a while since I last saw a 19 (or an 18,
which I've seen more often than 19, but he doesn't mention)--but they
seem to me to occur if you try something like {xs01,02,03,,01}.
