Another possibility is a [control][Z], which in some MicroSquish
programs, reverts to whatever you were doing before. Set up a
text, alter it, and try that.

Sometimes when I am being particularly clumsy on my keyboard I
manage to press a key combination which causes the current file
which I am editing to be replaced by an earlier version of the
same file. I have no idea what combination of keys I press or
what the function is which I activate. Can anybody tell me, so
that I can find and remove it from my keyboard.
I can't imagine, but I'd SEarch my .KBD file as follows
SE /.,b,a,k/
and
SE /a,u,to,s,a,v/
Those are the likeliest candidates.
