Right. In Xy3, CH makes changes one by one, refreshing the display
each time, while CI works "Invisibly", displaying all the changes at
once. The net result is the same: the changes occur en masse and
without user confirmation. Back in the days of 4 MHz the active
display arguably had some utility, because you could watch the
cursor pause momentarily at each change and, presumably, catch any
unintended results. But when 286 and later processors came along,
the pause became so fleeting as to be useless, and CH came to be
deprecated as merely an inferior CI. In Signature and Xy4|XyWin the
two were merged and are now used interchangeably: both commands work
"invisibly" and the display is updated once, at the end.
