Regarding the 'portrait' orientation: yes, that's the way I have been
using it (with 43 lines of text). At the moment I'm not, because my
screen died and I can't get the new display to rotate, but on my old
screen it worked well. If you want it to completely fill the screen,
you'll need a pretty big font.

After the death of my Eizo CRT display, I would like to hear experiences
about XyWrite in TFT displays. Is it possible to fill the whole screen
in a 19" TFT? Is it possible to run it comfortably in a rotated TFT
display via Pivot software (to emulate the standard proportions of a
paper sheet)?
