frames -- this
is entirely unrelated to Stack, but it also needs a fix. To protect the Escape
key, you need two things:
- two new frames inserted in U2 (or DLG)
- a new KBD file assignment for the Escape key, which is key #1
in every KBD Table
Note that the effect of ALL these fixes is to _cancel_ your MeNu selection
_and_ your intended keystroke. You will have to start over, and hit the
correct key(s) this time.
I have followed your guidelines and I can now make many mistakes (i.e.,
pressing Enter instead of Shift+Enter) without any effect in the
stability of XyWrite. Thank you very much.
Only a doubt: I have changed the Escape key, as explained by you.
Obviously, the ESC key doesn't cancel a menu anymore. Can I use
Shift+ESC (1=ascii 27, in my keyboard file) to cancel a menu (it has
this effect at present)? Should I replace SHIFT+ESC with 1=ESC?
