NTFS or FAT

Currently I am running XyWrite III Plus, Network (Ver. 3.55) on a 2 TB
NTFS drive under 32-bit W7. The drive is set up with default allocation
unit size (4K, I think). Printing is redirected to my networked HP
TN2100 printer with the NET USE command. I have been using XyW III
since about 1985 and for most work prefer it to Word 2010.
For extra backup of current files I use a 32 MB thumb drive which is
formatted as FAT32. Files go back and forth without any bother.
