Curse of the Cursor

One of the few remaining problems I have with XyWrite for DOS 4.018 in Windows XP Home Edition is the brightness, size and blinking rate of the cursor. I can't seem to make the cursor dimmer, half the height and slower blinking. I can't find any specific instructions for modifying the cursor characteristics in XyWrite documentation. This is the cursor in draft style, not in the graphic box.
