That is the default setting of some stupid Microshaft software (dare I
guess it is called "Winmail"?). I used to get reams of those every day, but
with most people moving over to Outlook, that problem seems to have abated.
Instead, people are now complaining about e-mail viri.
Why so many people don't bother to set the switches in their e-mail
software properly escapes me.
