I have not been successful in using the new WTP for windows. The following
are problems that I have encountered about every 15 minutes or so.
10/18/96 2:49 PM
Running WTP and Smart words on a Gateway 100 Mhz Pentium with 16 Megs of
Ram, 45 Megs of a 1 Gig hardrive available on drive C:/; 100 Megs available
on D and 100 Megs on E:\. I'm using win 95.
1. The program locked up going to the outline view. Runtime error out of
stack space.
2. Xw Error Occurred in Program. You will lose information you entered
since you last save. Transfer in Trust Memo. Double Clicking on back in
far right hand margin outside text area. Program perform an illegal
operation and will be shut down.. Dataman.dll
3. Document Trust Memo won't Print. Indicator shows that it is sending the
File to Printer, but . Print Manager doesn't ever show that file was received.
4. Program doesn't save changes to memos
5. Transfer in Trust Memo doesn't have option to Merge with D&A.
6. CLT Memo doesn't insert recipient name, author or date to text
7. VB40016.DLL error trying to develop and copy a template
8. setup data menu type mismatch.
9. In opening up a CRT trust document I got a setupdatamenu type mismatch error.
10. trying to run Q&A gives Q does not define a valid Q&A not a View message.
11. Running Q&A - Error Crating View
Some comments or suggestions I have about the program.
Will you be able to import or cut and paste to the Q&A data base.
Will Smart word be able to support printing in color. We are considering
giving the client a version of the trusts with the explanation of the
sections right in the documents. we would use color to indicate the
difference between the text and explanations.
PLEASE CALL ME ON MONDAY TO HELP ME GET THIS PROGRAM WORKING 216-871-6104.
OR YOU CAN E-MAIL ANY SUGGESTIONS.
THANK YOU
