I don't think the advice to a probable novice to buy SmartWords intead
of XyWin is good advice. XyWin is the next-to-least buggy word processor
I know of (XYDOS is least), and it is minutely documented in manuals.
SmartWords is a beta that will not have a finished version, and heaven
knows what the documentation will be. It is being produced as a courtesy
to a few experienced users who want it, but it should not be
confused--at least until it is tested--with a production program.
Since TTG is not going to update it, experience with XyWin will be the
best preparation for circumnavigating the bugs and incompletely
implemented functions usual in a beta.
Cheers,
