No, I don't think so. Perhaps you are thinking of 4DOS (or the Norton licensed
version NDOS, which was included with several versions of the Norton Utilities,
before Norton was bought out by Symantec) ? The 4DOS product family is still
sold, and I could easily put you in touch with them. (They have a favorably
priced CD-suite with all of their programs on it, for various platforms.) But
except for their Take Command program, these are strictly command line and command
driven.
There was also a s/w publisher that had a group of Q-this & Q-that named
programs. (Gazelle Systems ?) Some of that stuff was diagnostic utilities, a
backup program, and I don't recall what else. It is doubtful they are still
around at this point, but I have bookmarks for one or two Company-search engines
that focus on indexing a lot of companies in the Tech field.
