Hello,
We're on a dial up connection in Southeast Asia. Big attachments take
a long time to download, and we pay for every minute. 585kb is pretty
big on this kind of connection. Is there any way to have attachments
over a certain size lopped off, and still receive the message?
And I have to second that. I'm not paying for every minute, thank
heavens, but it does tie up my (almost 100-year-old, RFI-ridden) phone
lines. I realize it's an imposition to ask people with screen shots
(which can be very useful) to resend them to a selected list. Is there
any way we could get one of these image-stashing accounts and post
them there? Some, I believe, are free.
And Flash's later suggestion of sending them as separate e-mails
wouldn't work for me, because my ISP and Tbird automatically download
all new messages on the server. No choice. I can delete them unopened
(thereby protecting myself from malware), but they're in my inbox,
will I-nill I.
