From Robert Holmgren holmgren@chelsea.ios.com :
You're making wrong assmptions. I'm not trying to edit the
footnotes there, but material following them. I'll refine my previous
description of the document: 250 pp. of text; "The End"; Endnotes (screenful
of separator lines reserved, but no way to count them); Bibliography (text);
Appendices (column tables). Nothing I can see in the manual prohibits such
an arrangement. I'll repeat the description of the behavior in this context:
At this point the ONLY way one can get access to the later material
is to switch back to Draft View and scroll ahead. Obviously the reason for
this is that it can't know the actual page numbers after the endnotes
without actually formatting them for print. But if it had simply stayed in
draft mode it would avoid this. What is this "feature" good for? Jim.
