I am not sure that it is correct to say that few are enthusiastic. In any case, I am one of the ones enthusiastic about XyWrite for Windows. The advantages of a windowing environment are enormous. Although XW does not fully exploit that environment, it is sufficiently good that moving to XW has been a major advantage for me. I have found it to be very stable and dependable, under a very heavy workload.
