This is principally an appeal to the kind authors of the U2 routines,
Robert and Carl, but of course I would be grateful for help from anyone.
One of the routines in U2, namely, "CP437," would be an extremely valuable
tool if I could get it to work. When I enter "Cp437" followed by the
helpkey on the command line, a menu of characters appears with one of them
highlighted. The problem is this: How do I insert the highlighted character
in the text? Hitting the enter key inserts the character on the command
line, appending it to the command "CP437," rather than in the text. I must
be doing something wrong or have configured one of several things
incorrectly. If there is something obvious that I am overlooking, I sure
would like to know.
I am running Xywrite for DOS, version 4.018, in a command window under
Windows XP. I have Tame installed.
