I think the problem there would be with *Windows*, not with XY. ≫
The trickiest thing, I think, would be in the boot sequence. XyWrite works
best for me when its directory is included in the PATH line of AUTOEXEC.BAT,
which would be a little tedious to accomplish if you were bouncing a ZIP
drive around from one machine to another. It could be done, though, and
certainly would be more feasible if each of those machines had its own
permanent ZIP drive rather than one that is sometimes attached, sometimes not
..... I would guess you'd have to edit AUTOEXEC.BAT each time you wanted to run
Xy on a given computer, then restore that file to its original configuration
afterward so it wouldn't search for that drive and/or directory the next time
it boots.
In short, maybe more trouble than it's worth.
