I haven't even been tempted to try it. Jerky cursor is far
preferable. But given my experience with Xy on Vista, I wonder
have any of those with jerky cursor tried putting a second
monitor on their system (assuming it supports one)? When I was
using the laptop without that second monitor (which is where I
always run Xy) earlier this week, I noticed a very slight
decrease in the speed of cursor response: not jerky, but not as
smooth as when running on the second monitor. Windowed mode,
always. (At first I thought it was because I was using an old
CRT, but today my second monitor is the 3-year-old LCD I normally
use with my desktop. Same effect.)
smoother response, I haven't a clue.)
