  DOS 5.0 loads about 64K worth of COMMAND.COM into high memory,
leaving that much more of the lower 640K free. It will work nicely with
your memory setup. Your cache will have to be 64K smaller, but that's
all.
  The Toshiba T-1200XE's standard 1 MB of RAM can be configured in
any of several ways -- I now have 640K for the lower RAM, 64K of
extended for COMMAND.COM, and 256K of expanded memory for programs that
can use it, like Qmodem.
