Thanks very much, Carl. I'll be changing the XPL as you suggest. I did
not include the nopout.pgm and pp.pgm because they are specific to
Columbia University Press's style tags, and aren't basic XML/SGML. If
you would like to see those programs, I'll be glad to send them to you.
