Yes, I've seen this too. Annoying, and I don't know the cause or how to prevent it. More likely
something to do with some DOS sessions in this OS, than with Xy itself, I think. The ability to use
VXDs or most TSRs was removed as of NT-4, so I don't know if you could use something like NUMOFF in
a
batch file that runs Xy. For now, as soon as that "N" shows up, I hit CTRL-NUMLOCK, and
it goes
away. Plain NUMLOCK has no effect. Maybe there's a way to force the execution of that key sequence
in STARTUP.INT ?
