Michael,
Oh yes! Now that you mention it, I remember that message, but it hops
right to it anyway.

What about this in your settings.dfl? I have
ks=0,0
KS is keyboard speed. The first 0 is for repeat rate; the second is
for "delay."
What's in yours?
Whoa! I get the following error on ks=0,0, *Keyboard did not accept
repeat settings* but then I get a *done* and, here's the thing -- IT
WORKS! Not a millisecond of delay. No lag. I tried it with and without
Mode Con: in Autoexec.nt but saw no difference. Maybe Mode Con:
Rate=0, Delay=0 will get rid of the error. Meanwhile...
I seem to remember some advice about ks and U2, or am I
misremembering. Found nothing in XySearch.
Anyway, at last some progress. Issues with U2 but I'm sure the mavens
can help with those. I need to try some more settings before I lay
them out.
Thanks Leslie.
