It's evident that some thought went into in that feature. For instance, if
you select a block of text that's Flush Right and apply FC, then FR is
restored at the end of the block. It doesn't just mechanically assume FL,
but honors the prevailing . That's as you'd expect, but, still, it's
gratifying when things work as expected.
There are quite a few commands that work this way: LM, RM, LS, IP,
MD (non-numeric), NB, UF, SZ, RT, HY come to mind. The feature ought to be
documented, and there should be a comprehensive list of commands that have
it.
It's worth noting, also, that the feature is disabled in eXPanded view.
