The major (virtually only) transition cost occurs if you have a *lot* of
XPL code that is particularly tricky. The person in question obviously
doesn't. Printer control is so much better in 4 that the person will be a
lot happier. (nb: in ty/rv filename there is no space between the command
and the slash.)
