I must admit that waiting for unbidden reformatting calculation is
considerbly less than 10^100 years, but it is nevertheless frustrating when
you know the time is going to be wasted. Robert Holmgren says:
Maybe that is precisely what bothers us. Version 4 is supposed to
be an improvement, if you insist on making comparisons (although I prefer a
stand-alone evaluation). According to this logic Robert may be right that
it is a feature instead of a bug. If so, it is a feature one would not want
to put into the brochure and one would like to get rid of in any future
versions.
He also says, Neither do I most of the time,
as explained in my earlier posting. And neither does Bob Brody from what I
gather. I suspect it may have something to do with recent footnote
activity, but I haven't been able reliably to reproduce it.
It turns out Robert Holmgren and I are neighbors. I could easily
meet him with a copy of my document. Coffee Mr. Holmgren?
