Re "can't find link" -- are you importing a "foreign" file *into* an existing
Xy file? Or an existing empty Xy file? If you just want to open a foreign
file in Xy format, use the Open dialog and go to Options. The linking stuff
is interesting but not the usual way to convert foreign-format files. When
you Open a non-Xy file, Xywrite puts the new file into an Untitled file. Is
that what you're trying (or wanting) to do?
