 Thanks Carl. I like the change that you have made. In fact,
 I was thinking about the problem that would arise when I needed
 to place a new fn in the text, and I concluded that I'd have
 to use the command line, because EFN was really only for editing
 an existing fn. You've solved that minor matter with this new
 version of EFN. Nice. This is a very useful new routine for those
 of us who use footnotes in our writing, and another demonstration,
 as if we needed one, that XYW is miles ahead of other wp. It
 goes without saying that this is also evidence of your
 devotion to this wp and the small XYW community. Again,
 many thanks.
