I may not have the correct address as I got this from the Baltimore
phone. I have these questions regarding Xywrite 4. May I ask them here?
1. I have 6 meg of ram; but the "X" appears at the head of the screen
even with a small file loaded. The X means "writing to disk"? As if the
motherboard were out of memory? Can you refer me to an answer/explanation
in the documentation?
2. When I first tried to load XY4 I couldn't until Christopher (in
Baltimore no more, who was the only one who seemed to grasp the Archaic
Niche Product) told me to remove 'noems' from the config.sys file. That
worked. But now that XY4 is installed, can I put the ems back? And why
would I? Of what use is EMS? (I realize that's a DOS question, that even
old Archaic Niche Product.)
