I don't know anything about LaTeX, referred to later in your
note, but I do the same thing with WP 5.1 for clients who
request WP-formatted documents. I bought the 5.1 from a
neighbor who dumped his old 286 in favor of a 486 that his
employer provided, with WP 6.0 included.
