I have installed and tested the new version of Tame. installing the reg entries too, and have found
that performance is, indeed, much improved. I would say that the scrolling behaviour is now pretty
close that that I would find with Win98se. However for me the glitch, the wrong line end
character, is an irritation because I find that XY4 is flickering - it looks as if it is switching
between the usual and the wrong line-end character - very frequently. If that can be solved, Tame
does look like the answer to the problem.
