I'm not a particularly experienced CD burner, but I started with Easy CD and it would usually fail to correctly burn about a fourth
of the CDs I tried to create with it. I next tried Nero, and things improved. But it would still
fail to create usable CDs now and
then. I'm currently using a freeware app called DeepBurner (http://www.deepburner.com/) and it has worked perfectly so far (maybe 25
to 30 CDs). It seems to be a little faster too.

Dear Colleagues
Yes, I accept that data copying isn't per se a XyProblem; but Bill Troop's
e-mail (in digest 2079) drags me out of denial, and makes me face the fact
that for months now I've been failing to back up anything because I can't
get Easy CD Creator or its siblings to work for me. I'd been wondering
about Nero, but Bill Troop has me doubting it. Any advice about CD-burning
software that does work?
TIA
