vDosPlus XyWrite 4.00 available

Hello all,

There is a new installer ready for download based on build 2017.08.28.
This version has a new major version number to celebrate vDos Summer '17:

Hopefully soon also mirrored.

Changes in the installer:
- A special Windows 2000 version of vDosPlus is installed on Windows
2000 only, on XP machines the normal version is used as the current
vDosPlus supports Windows XP and later. Using a lightweight W2K virtual
machine (e.g. under VirtualBox) makes it possible to run vDosPlus
XyWrite on different non-Windows platforms like Linux, Mac or Solaris.

- Automatic change of SHELL4DOS to SHEL4DOS in config.txt.
- Internal update of the Restore settings feature.

New config directives: SYSCLOSE, BLRATE, SHEL4DOS, GOTOCMD.
New command: VRUN (run another instance of vDosPlus)
Numerous changes and refinements.
Better WordPerfect support.

Please note that vDosPlus XyWrite installer version 3.11 (last installer
based on vDos Autumn '16, vDosPlus build 2017.03.15, includes even
Winter '15 branch of vDosPlus) is also available at my site:
