It is my feeling that reducing the left margin (or eliminating it) when
displaying documents at zoom levels over 100% is not necessary, as one can use
the horizontal scroll bar to view any area of the text (and remove the empty
space of the margin from the display area). If I'm overlooking other reasons
that would make this feature desirable, please let me know.
