Harry, the bottom line is that you cannot (can NOT!) SEarch for Ascii-10 without also
flagging the 13/10 combo (the true ). Nothing works. But, conversely, you _can_
SEarch (or CHange) a 13/10 without also flagging lone
10s or 13s. Therefore, the obvious solution is to CHange 13/10 to some dummy
character(s), deal with the lone 13s and 10s that linger after 13/10s are gone (might as
well CHange them to the same dummy character), then finally CHange the dummy back to
13/10. That renders everything in 13/10 form. Since a few external programs generate
10/13s, you might as well deal with that inversion also, and regularize everything:
