For what it's worth, I don't use TAME in XP mode and don't have
significant delay. That said, I suspect that XP mode does result in a
_fractional_ delay of about a tenth of a second. However,
this is guesswork. Other overheads probably contribute to the problem. I
need to see if I can observe this under minimal loads.
