Since this thread is picking up contradictory recommendations I thought I'd
add my vote and a few observations to the pro-4 side. 4 is better. Unlike
Solla I haven't run across anything I could do III that I can't do in 4,
albeit *sometimes* it has to be done differently (some of Solla's page
layout problems are in this category). And 4 is more stable, XPL is better
in 4, use of expanded memory is better in 4, etc. The only real question
is transition costs; if you have an absolutely massive amount of highly
specific macros and *no* time to fiddle then maybe sticking with III is a
good idea. I found my less than massive conversion pretty easy; Carl
outlined the essentials.
