EQUATION EDITOR
XY-> K.:
XY-> There is a file called "EQUATE.ZIP" on the TTG BBS which contains the files
-> for the demo version of "Equation Wizard".
XY-> Please let us have your reactions.
It looks interesting, but it really doesn't include much
information about itself to be able to make much of an
observation.
So in lieu of an expanded readme or help file, there's not much
of a way to determine how it creates equations, unless one hunts
& pecks to contentment. (For instance, how do you align a series
of equations?)
I would have preferred if EW worked with type 1 fonts, rather
than having its own variety. Of course, maybe it does, but
there's no way of knowing.
The main problem I would have with such a program is that for
both Quark & WP, the OLE object comes through as a box with an
"X," which is not a particularly good way for keeping track of
equations.
