Hi, Tom,

You've come to the right place. Let's try to solve the problem here, on
the list, free of charge.

There's a working copy of the last version of XyWrite 4 for DOS
(v4.018) here:

Unzip all files into a new directory; be sure to preserve the directory
structure of the ZIP archive. Launch EDITOR.EXE and see if it works. If
so, try loading your usual KBD file. If it behaves normally, then it
would appear that your XyWrite setup has become corrupted. But if you
still see the same erratic behavior, then the problem is probably your
Vista installation.
